Set Up a Strength Training Routine at Home
You don’t need to join a gym to build muscle strength and endurance. You can do your strength training right in your own home. And you won’t need to buy fancy strength training machines to put in your living room, either. You can use any or all of these convenient and inexpensive options instead:
- Your own body weight
- Resistance tubing or bands
- Free weights
Whatever the equipment you use, the goal is to build both bone strength and muscle mass. Building lean muscle mass helps keep you strong and firm. It helps burn calories, too. Try to fit in resistance training twice a week.
So, don’t let gym fees keep you from reaching your fitness goals.
