1. Pick one resolution
It’s easy at the New Year to think about all of the things you have ever wanted to change and to try and improve them all! It’s more likely that you will be successful if you keep your goal simple and specific.

2. Be realistic
When creating your plan, keep in mind that this plan must be practical on an ongoing basis … not just for January!

3. Write down your resolution
Keep a reminder of your resolution posted to help motivate you (desk at work, refrigerator, mirror in bathroom, etc.)

4. Get help and support
Tell a friend about your goals and ask them to help hold you accountable or find a buddy with a similar New Year’s Resolution and work through your goals together!

5. Nobody’s perfect
If you make a mistake, don’t give up! The best accomplishments in life are never easy.
