Tempeh for Tempeh Chili Blog Post 12 4 14

Cooking spray
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
3 oz. tempeh, crumbled
1 15 oz. can soybeans
1 15 oz. can pinto beans
1 141/2 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. white pepper
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 Tbsp. chili powder

Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Saute onions, bell peppers, and tempeh until lightly browned. Drain, and rince two cans of beans; combine beans in a skillet; add onions. Mix in the remaining ingredients (tomatoes through chili powder). Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes.
