We live in a noisy world. Loud neighbors, noisy kids or pets, blaring radios, TVs, traffic, construction, constant smart phone alerts…

Too much noise can disrupt both your physical and mental health. It can leave you annoyed, angry, and stressed out. And this is especially true if you feel like you can’t control the noise.

Find a quiet room, a corner in your garden, or a local park where you can sit and enjoy some peace and quiet. Also, try to set noise limits at home. Ask the family to create quiet times that work for all. Set up quiet zones in your home. Ask family members to wear earphones if they’re watching TV or listening to music. Do what you can to eliminate some noise and gain some serenity.
