When it comes to workout clothes, you may not think it matters much what they look like or how well they fit. After all, you’re just going to sweat in them, right? But having clothes that fit you well that are made of fabric that breathes and wicks sweat away from your body may be a good idea. It may make a difference in terms of how you feel and even how you perform.
So sort through your workout clothes every now and then. Shorts, pants, tops, sports bras, and even socks. Set aside clothes that no longer fit; clothes that have rips and tears, frayed seams, or worn-out elastic; maybe even clothes that smell of sweat no matter how often you wash them. Replace any items as needed. Look for quality gear that fits well and suits your needs. And don’t feel like you have to spend a lot of money on trendy gear. Please check with your doctor before starting any new exercise routine.
