Anybody can get into a workout rut. Being creatures of habit, we can get stuck doing the same workout routine over and over, without even realizing it. But that can get dull fast and take a big bite out of your motivation. So think of new types of exercise you might like to try. Create a new music playlist to work out to. If you go to the gym 5 days a week, think about trying a Pilates class or a bike ride 2 days a week, instead. Meet a friend for a canoeing or roller skating excursion. Take an indoor rock climbing class or try a new kind of dance fitness class. Novelty is the spice of life. So spice up your routine with something new that you’ve never tried before.
