Your bedroom can either promote sound sleep or disrupt it. To promote it, make sure you have a comfortable sleep-inducing environment. Is your bedroom clutter free? Is your bed comfy, yet supportive? Does it have clean linens? Is your room dark, cool, and well-ventilated? If not, black out curtains or an eye mask can help. So might a fan. If you live in a noisy area, put some ear plugs on your night stand to use at bedtime. If you have a TV or computer in your bedroom, consider moving them to another room. And make sure there are no lights shining in your eyes from digital clocks or other device, no matter how small.
