Your hands do a lot of work for you. Grasping, clutching, holding, opening, squeezing, typing—these constant movements can create a lot of tension in your hands. You can ease some of that tension by giving yourself a hand massage. Spread a little oil or lotion onto the palms of your hands. Using the thumb of one hand, stroke the palm of the other with gentle circular motions. Gently squeeze and pull each finger. Finish with some kneading of the forearm. Repeat on the other side.
