A lack of time is a barrier to working out for many people. But 30 minutes a day isn’t that much time. Plus, you don’t have to do all 30 minutes at once. You can do short, 10-minute sessions throughout the day and still get many of the same health and fitness benefits. Could you take a brisk, 10-minute walk after each meal? Could you jump rope or do some body weight exercises while you watch a 30-minute TV show at night? Could you do 15 minutes of yoga in the morning and another 15 minutes in the evening? Think of that one day each week that is really hectic. Then find a way to squeeze in your workout.
