WELLNESS CHALLENGE
Bacteria are growing resistant to antibiotics. This is due, in part, to the fact that they are often overused and misused. But you can help guard against this problem. Just pledge to use these life-saving drugs in a safe and proper way. Here’s what that entails. 1. Take antibiotics for bacterial infections only, not for viral infections like a cold or the flu.
2. Take your antibiotic as your doctor prescribed.
3. Don’t stop taking your antibiotics until you’re finished, even if you start to feel better.
4. Don’t share your antibiotics or take any that were prescribed for someone else.
