Exercise is a great way to get active and stay fit. But it’s only one piece of the puzzle. It’s also good to sit less and move more whenever you can, not just when you work out. And active chores can be a big part of that. Here are a few examples. Inspect and clear the gutters. Place outdoor furniture back on the patio or deck. Weed flower beds. Vacuum and shampoo, or spot-clean carpets and rugs. Remove storm windows, and wash and hang window screens. Wash and rehang curtains, and clean window blinds.
