Giving your fridge a makeover may help you cut down on clutter and put healthy grab-and-go foods within reach. First, toss out old items, like expired cartons of milk, moldy produce, or leftovers past their prime. Chuck any foods with a lot of added sugar, fat, or salt. Then, wipe down the inside of your fridge and restock it with healthy, ready-to-go snacks. Think cut veggies with hummus or almond butter. Or maybe lay in some sliced fruit with low-fat cheese slices or roasted nuts (minus the salt).
