Balance training is a key part of a well-rounded fitness program. Good balance helps prevent falls, supports good posture, and may even boost athletic performance. Put one hand on a wall and walk heel-to-toe in a straight line. Balance on one foot for 10 seconds while holding the back of a sturdy chair. Switch to the other foot.
