WELLNESS CHALLENGE

Practicing sound food safety at your holiday picnic or barbecue is always a good plan. Thaw frozen meat in the fridge rather than the countertop the night before.  Make sure to wash all utensils, plates, and cutting boards used to prep raw meat, fish, or poultry in hot, soapy water. Preheat your grill for about 5 minutes. Grill your meat slowly and all the way through. Taking these steps can help stave off food-borne sickness.
