For many people, sitting has become a way of life. We sit in the car, at our desks, and on the couch in front of the TV. And all that sitting is not only bad for your waistline, but also for your health. But you can find ways to sit less and get up and move more. You can march or run in place, or even do jumping jacks during TV commercials. You can do walking meetings at work. You may also want to ask your employer about a standing work station. But do more than just stand. Actively move your body as much as you can to reap the most health benefits.
