WELLNESS CHALLENGE

Changing a bad habit starts by pinpointing the people, places, or events that trigger it. Say you normally eat high-calorie snacks while watching TV. If this is the case, then watching TV is the trigger. If you drink a few cocktails at the end of each workday, then that time of day is your trigger. You can avoid the trigger (sometimes) or change your response to it. You could try a new hobby instead of watching TV each night. Or, you could swap your unhealthy TV time snack for a healthier one. Instead of cocktails at the end or your workday, you could try some deep breathing or a bout of yoga to unwind.

What are the triggers for some of your bad habits? How can you avoid them or react differently to them?
