It’s raining heavily, so you can’t go for your usual run outside. You got stuck in traffic and missed your favorite yoga class. Or you sprained your wrist, so you can’t play tennis. There are often things that disrupt your workout routine. If you don’t have a backup plan, it’s all too easy to miss a workout or two. And that small lapse may hinder your weight management efforts. A backup plan can prevent that from happening. You won’t have to skip a workout. And changing your workout to accommodate these situations might turn out to be a nice change of pace from your regular routine.
