You don’t use your core only when working out. You use your core when you mow the lawn, sit up in bed, and carry the groceries. You use it when you check your blind spot, tie your shoes, and grab something off a high shelf. So, keeping your core strong is really important. It keeps you moving well. It supports your spine and good posture. It helps protect your back. It helps keep you stable and balanced when you move around.
If you haven’t done so already, try adding some core exercises to your strength training routine. Make sure to talk with your doctor before starting any new exercise routine.
