With a little planning, it’s not too hard to make your favorite Thanksgiving dishes a bit healthier. For instance, you could use whole wheat bread for stuffing instead of corn bread. Or, perhaps you could leave the skins on your mashed potatoes for added fiber. If you’re not hosting, maybe offer to make a healthy dish like green beans or roasted broccoli. Also, try looking up what serving sizes look like for your favorite holiday foods. It may be known as the season to indulge, but try to stick to just 1 helping.
