You can avoid a lot of saturated fat and added sugar by making your own salad dressing. And it doesn’t have to be hard. Try a drizzle of olive oil with your favorite vinegar. You might like the sweetness of balsamic vinegar, the tang of apple cider, or the bright flavors of red or white wine vinegar. Or, grab a fresh lemon and use that instead. Season with salt and pepper to taste and enjoy.
