You may have heard that tai chi is a great way to help your balance and ease stress. But did you know it’s also a good way to help your posture? Tai chi is a gentle, moving meditation that strengthens your core and your legs. This can help support your upper body and improve posture. Tai chi also helps you keep an upright spine in a relaxed, elongated way—rather than forcing it with rigid or tense muscles. And it helps you find healthy alignment of your feet, pelvic girdle, and head, too.

Good posture helps support your back and neck, and that in turn may help ease or prevent pain in these areas. What are some of the ways you work on your posture? If you have any health issues or haven’t bene active in a while, please check with your doctor before starting any new exercise routine.
