Sanitize all your food prep surfaces when you clean up after meals. It can help kill germs that can cause foodborne illness. Salmonella, E. coli, and other harmful bacteria can grow on all sorts of foods, even fruits and veggies. These germs can make their way from your food to all your food prep surfaces. So, after you do the dishes, wipe the grease and food bits off your stove, countertops, and cutting boards. Mix one tablespoon of bleach to a gallon of water. Add some to a spray bottle. Then spray some on all your surfaces and let it dry.
